Shao Wen is 2 weeks ago. She is so cute and adorable. I have learned to change her diapers and feed her. She will hiccup once a while after drinking milk. She has her personality although she is just a 2 weeks old. Nobody can feed her when she feel sleepy. What i observed is that she will sleep when she feels comfort. She does not sleep when you feel uneasy after eating. Her blood circulation is good by observing her face color and she is healthy from looking at her shit. He has a bit hot because her eyes produce lot of eye shit. So, we give her eat pearl powder and she is getting better now. You can see it from the photos.

「中國殘疾人藝術團」，是由一群身體有缺陷的人士組成，團員中有人少了雙手、缺
了腿，更多是眼盲、失聰的殘疾人士，然而他們的相似處不僅是身有殘疾，更大的共
通點，是他們都「笑看人生」。

這一群身體有缺憾的表演者，以最美的歌聲與舞步，行遍世界四十多國，克服萬難的
精神、堅強的毅力，精采動人的表演震撼了無數無數人。

慈濟人熱烈迎接

此次由台灣企業家穿針引線，接引藝術團來台演出，除其中兩場，其餘十四場皆為公
益表演，用以激勵台灣殘疾人士，鋪展亮麗人生；並回饋長年護持大愛電視台之慈濟
環保志工。

五十四人組成的藝術團，行李總計四噸多重，包括重達一噸的蓮花座。這是為加強舞
台效果特別帶來的道具，因為團員們早已聞悉慈濟深耕全球的大愛足跡，一心要以最
完美的演出與所有慈濟人分享。團員們更發願在台活動期間茹素，這分心意真的很可
貴。

相同的，慈濟人也以最熱誠的心迎接團員們到來。榮董們全力聯繫籌備，在短短一個
月的時間中完成場地、票務等艱鉅任務；北、中、南、東慈濟人更使出渾身解數，以
慈濟歌曲、手語、地方特色表演，來歡迎遠道而至的朋友。大家都很開心、很感
動，也很敬重這些殘疾藝術人。

人人皆有潛能，看看他們的表演，傳達了人文真善美，令台灣社會大眾獲得很好的學
習。每個人皆曾遭遇困境，就看如何突破，如何展現本能與潛能，這群藝術人真正體
現了「身殘心不殘」的勇氣，給予消極悲觀的人生很大的啟示。

無處不敦煌 無人不菩薩

釋迦佛《本生經》裡記載，佛陀現相人間，時而現殘障相，時而現微賤相，佛陀以何
種面相示現人前，無不是希冀教化眾生。我們看到舞台上這群殘疾人士，不也是現殘
障相來教化我們嗎？那一分美化的心靈，像湧出的清泉，永不止盡地湧現，讓我們忘
掉煩惱，去掉心中的邪惡。

佛陀教育我們，「身、口、意」造下「十惡」：「身」造下殺、盜、淫三
業；「口」造下四惡業─惡口、妄言、兩舌、綺語；「意」興起三惡念─
貪、瞋、癡，這一切乃因人的六根接觸外界的六塵，所造下的諸多惡業。但這群殘疾
人士因天生的缺憾，使其遠離塵俗，心靈的清淨反而超越一般人。

聾啞者，耳不聽蜚語、口不傳是非；目盲者，眼不見非淨，免於世間形形色色的污
染；肢體殘障者，缺了手、缺了腳，卻表達出美妙的身段。他們憑藉的並非表象的器
官，耳、口、目……等，而是用「心」，聽到的是「心音」，團員間的互動也是依靠心
的交流及默契。

敦煌佛窟裡雕刻許多佛、菩薩、天人，無不巧奪天工、栩栩如生。但天地萬物皆難免
於「成住壞空」，敦煌佛窟千年的歷史，歲月剝蝕、世代變遷，終歸凋零，世間一切
物質無不在歲月流逝。然而這群殘疾人士表演的「千手觀音」，二十一個人演出，看
起來卻像一個人；這種美不就是敦煌佛窟裡，那群巧奪天工的菩薩相？許許多多的菩
薩，活動地合在一起，變成了一尊千手觀音，一手、一手、百手、千手，每一隻手都
可變化無窮；以一化無窮，他們也可以成為千百億化身，看！這即是活的菩薩。

人文之美，敦煌之美，現於我們眼前，所以我說「無處不敦煌」。若人人的心靈，能
受這般人文所陶冶與感化，則「無處不敦煌，無人不菩薩」，人人都是菩薩，每天所
見皆是美的境界，每個人擁有的人生都會很可愛。

看看他們的舞姿，清淨而美妙，真美啊！真正是微妙相悉現眼前。

互助互愛不殘缺　善的回響勵人心

最令人感動的，團員間都是互相感恩，互相幫助，人人心中只有一個念頭：感恩！我
聽不到，你幫我聽到了；我看不到，你幫我看到了；我做不到，你幫我做到了。他們
只有一念單純的心，那就是感恩心；這種感恩心，即是人文之美，我實在很佩服，他
們做到了我常對慈濟人說的「合心、和氣、互愛、協力」，「善解、包容、知足、感
恩」。他們如此合齊，這分美深深印刻在我們心中。

將近二十天，我幾乎天天都提起這群最尊重也是最敬愛的菩薩，也天天都聽到訊
息，他們所到之處、經過之地都獲得許許多多的讚美，善的回響源源不絕，救了很多
人的心。

老菩薩發願以殘疾藝術人為模範，更加認真做環保；身罹殘疾的孩子，透過父母的口
說出勇敢活下去的心願；悲傷失意的人，認清了自己還有很多優點；限於小愛的
人，決定化小為大，共同為淨化社會而努力……

所以真的很感動，也很感恩這一群可愛、可敬的藝術團菩薩們，你們合作無間、互相
彌補的示範，為我們畫了一個很圓、很美的人生。這是給台灣民眾一個最好的禮
物，感恩你們！也感恩所有慈濟人在這次活動中全力配合，圓滿一場場美的演出，感
恩！

My father was given a "Datukship" in July 2006. He has been working hard to support his family and his contribution finally pay off and given a "datukship" recently. He has been waiting for this moment for the past 30 years when i was born. The new title is pleasure and happy to him definitely. His grand-daughter, Shao Wen will call him "datuk" when she learn to speak~ Sure, he is waiting for long!

IRIS - The stock evil for 2006

IRIS drop another 21 cents and closed at 0.51. The day low is 0.495. This is even lower than previous limit down low of 0.655. I would advise player stay out from this speculative counter and other related counters such as Polytwr, Oilcorp, Sugar, IPower, KBB, Canone, Satang, etc.

IRIS punters will face another round of sell off in these few days due to heavy volume traded for the past few days and the stock price will be hard to sustain at these level. The main player is believed has been pulling off from the stock. Based on the chart analysis, IRIS minor support is at 0.4 and strong support is at 0.34. At this level, contra player are advised to cut loss and stay aside and buy back for technical rebound when IRIS hit support level as mentioned.

Contra player are advised to stay sideway for this week because market will be volatile and any major movement in IRIS will affect market sentiment significantly. If there is profit, please lock in now. Market will be quiet trading for the rest of the week

Stock for attention this week will be Magnum, Pelikan, Kossan, and govertment linked counters such as Timecom and RHB, Utama.

Shao Wen's Birth Certification

Birth registration must be done within 14 days the baby born. I went to Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara in Kepong branch to do the registration for Shao Wen this morning. I reached there about 7:40a.m but i still did not manage to go to work on 9:00a.m. Ended up i finished at 10:15 am. The reason are there was only one officer in on duty to process all IC renewal, birth registration, etc until 9:30am. This is ridicurious because the office is well-equipment with more than 10 counters. I suppose those officers started to work on 8 am. Most of the people waiting with frustration, but nothing could be done.

Later, i found out that if you would like to speed up the process, you are advised to go to Selayang branch, there are "2 officers in 2 counters" are working and will be faster!! What kind of service is this??

What is she thinking??

This is the first weekend i spent with my lovely girl, Shao Wen. Most of the photos i taken with Shao Wen are sleeping face because she sleeps almost 20 hours per day. However, i manage to get her open-eye photos today because i stay at home for the whole day. Being a first time father, you feel enjoyable and irresistable to look at for every moment. Eventhough, she is sleeping, you still enjoy in starring at her. Baby has a lot of facial expression during sleeping. Her crying is fantastic, it can wake up all residents in the house. That is what i called normal!

Shao wen likes to sleep. Most of the time i look at her, she is sleeping. That is great because baby needs more than 18-20 hours sleep per day. She is celebrating one-week old today. Her mom bring her to the doctor in Sunway Medical. Doc said she is fine after taking 7-days antibiotic course. She can breath well and cry loud as normal baby. I am glad to know that she is fine and well. I will do her birth registration on next Monday. Shao Wen is very cute and smart. It is a enjoyable task to do for watching her sleeping everyday. :)

I feel like very lucky because my mother-in-law is here to take care Shao Wen. She could drink milk 3 times per night and 2 hours to 2.5 hours interval. I thank my mom-in-law for her caring and love. My wife is resting after the delivery. I appreciate that my mom is a well cook and she responsible for the maternaty meal for my wife.

My Wife gave birth to a baby in Sunway Medical

My wife was sucessfully gave birth naturally to a baby girl with 3.1kg in Sunway Medical Centre on 14 July 2006. Being a first time father, i am really excited and please because both of them are safe. However, my baby was not healthy because she had a lung infection. Doc said her lung is infected or either not fully developed and insisted that she had to be treated in ICU. I am very worry and pray for her recovery. My poor baby was treated with antibiotic and breath support machine to assist her to breath. She could not breath as usual. Her breath rate hit 130-140 reading. As the parents, our worrisome could not be described. We follow up closely with her situation day by day. Fortunately, she is getting better and better. After staying in ICU for 3 days, finally, my baby condition was stable and transferred to normal nursery for continous observation.

For sure, my wife check out after 2 days in Sunway Medical. The bill amount is as expected (RM4000+). My lovely baby successfully overcome the lung infection and she can drink milk in the fourth day. The hospital gave us a big surprise. Guess what! the officer request us to top-up deposit of $10,000. This is a frighten to us. How come the bill is so high! We decided to discharge the baby in the next day. We are happy that our baby can overcome the infection but, we mad that the medical bill is beyond our expectation.

After a deep breath, we decide to write a appeal letter to the hospital to request for medical bill reduction. The outcome should be known soon.

Eventhough the medical bill is high, it is a useful way to cure my baby infection. This is much better than those people who believe in Bumoh magic treatment with thousand and thousand ringgit.

We love our baby every much and she is a real cute baby. Don't you think so? the picture is attached. I wish she can live healthy and grow stronger. :)
